Un PC qui dépasse sur beaucoup de points l’Orion 9000, et qui devient le nouvel étendard de la gamme Predator. Le PC le plus puissant vendu par Acer est le Predator Orion 9000, une tour aux caractéristiques solides, mais qui commence à dater. L'Orion 5000, présenté mercredi dernier par Acer, le dépasse sur de nombreux aspects, notamment sur la partie d'une tour légèrement plus petite 253 x 520 x 563 mm que l'Orion 9000, l'Orion 5000 reprend ses grandes lignes de design avec les formes agressives et les lignes bleu glacé qui courent le long de son châssis. Contrairement au modèle 9000, l'Orion 5000 ne propose pas de processeur Intel Core i9. Cependant, mais des Intel Core i5 ou i7 de huitième génération épaulés par 64 Go de RAM au grande force de ce nouveau PC, c'est bien son modèle de carte graphique SLI qui peut accueillir deux GeForce GTX 1060, 1070, 1080 et 1080 Ti.
